Notifications

  • Agents and Participants besides the visual indication can hear a notification sound when a private message is received.

Improvements

Conference

  • When a conference is closed by an Agent, participants will be informed accordingly.

Settings for participants

  • Settings for participants feature is enabled, participants will not have Screen Sharing functionality available until they are promoted to presenters. This change helps conference hosts to keep full control over their conference session.

Fixes

  • Switching the platform language from German to English will now display correct translations.

  • Agents and Participants besides the visual indication can hear a notification sound when a private message is received.

Improvements

Conference

  • Conferences now remember the participants' latest used names. This name will be prefilled when the participant joins a new meeting.
  • Conferences request password from participants already at the Welcome page if password is required.
  • Chat window for mobile and tablets users has been separated. It can be made visible/invisible by tapping on the Chat icon. This way participants can use the available screen space as best as possible.

Breakout Rooms

  • Users can now use the Back button to change the initial Breakout room configurations without closing the dialog.

Fixes

  • Polls can be submitted with empty results for True/False questions.
  • Thumbnails of documents can be shown during Document Co-browsing even on small screens.
  • Send button in Chat does not disappear anymore in small screens when sending a video or image file.
  • Participants do not see the Reconnect button anymore after they have been removed from the Conference.
  • Establishing a new network connection during a conference will not start the recording anymore.
  • Mobile devices joining a conference on landscape view will see all UI elements correctly.
  • After an agent joins a Chatbot conversation, User input will be enabled even if it was disabled by the Chatbot. This way users can interact with the Agent.
  • Sending attachments will not disrupt the Input field and Send button user interface.
  • Thumbnails of document during Document Co-browsing are shown correctly also on smaller screens.
  • Special characters e.g.: ö, ü, ä are shown correctly on confirmation popups.

What's New

Localization

  • TeamViewer Engage is now available in Russian and Ukrainian.

Waiting Room

  • Automatic admission – users that join a conference early will land in the waiting room, but will be automatically let in once an agent joins. Find this setting under Conference Plugin->Security->Waiting Room->Automatic admission.
  • Disconnect participants – users will be automatically removed from a conference once the last agent has left. Find this setting under Conference Plugin->Security->Disconnect participants at end of conference.

Conference

  • A new API endpoint is available to check if a conference is active. Find it here.

Breakout Rooms

  • When creating breakout rooms, agents can auto-assign participants to rooms.
    • Auto-assign for number of rooms: participants will be equally distributed between all rooms.
    • Auto-assign for participants per room: participants will be assigned to rooms based on the number of participants per room. (e.g., if 6 participants are present and the user selected 2 participants per room, then 3 breakout rooms will be created, and auto-assign will place 2 participants in each room).
